Police Probe Report of Alleged Sexual Assault Involving Four-Month-Old Infant
Police have launched an investigation into a disturbing report of the alleged sexual assault of a four-month-old baby girl, after concerns were raised by medical personnel at Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre.
According to credible sources, the matter came to the attention of authorities after a doctor at the hospital reported injuries consistent with possible sexual abuse. Law-enforcement officials are now working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Up to press time, it remained unclear whether anyone had been taken into custody in connection with the case. Police have also not issued an official statement outlining details of the investigation, which is understood to be ongoing.
