Thousands of supporters turned out Saturday night as the Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party (ABLP) hosted its Red and Reddy Concert, staging a major show of support just days before the country heads to the polls on April 30 for the general election.

Rising Sun Grounds was transformed into a sea of red as supporters gathered for the free concert, which mixed political energy with entertainment in the final stretch of the campaign. The event featured performances from top regional and local acts, including Masicka, Sizzla, Burning Flames, Destra Garcia, Asa Bantan, Claudette Peters and Tian Winter.

Supporters waved flags, danced and sang late into the night as the event served as both a celebration and a political rally, reinforcing momentum for the ruling party heading into election week.

The concert comes ahead of what the ABLP is billing as a massive “megacade” today, with drivers from across the island expected to take part in a large motorcade in support of the party. Organizers anticipate a strong turnout as supporters travel around the island in a final push before voters cast their ballots.

The weekend activities form part of a broader campaign drive by the ABLP as political activity intensifies in the final days before the general election, with both parties making their closing appeals to voters.
