Early Voter shares his experience

One of the earliest voters in All Saints East and St. Luke says he showed up hours before polls opened—but was left disappointed by the turnout.

The voter told Antigua.news he arrived at his polling station as early as 3:30 a.m. on Election Day, determined to be among the first to cast his ballot.

Despite his early arrival, he expressed concern about what he described as a low turnout in the constituency, noting that more residents should be participating in the democratic process.

Polling stations opened at 6:00 a.m. across Antigua and Barbuda as voters head to the polls in today’s general election.
