Opposition Leader Jamale Pringle has successfully retained his seat in the All Saints East and St Luke constituency following Thursday’s general elections.

The United Progressive Party (UPP) political leader fended off a challenge from Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party (ABLP) newcomer Lamin Newton in a closely watched contest.

While Newton mounted a notable campaign and gained attention in the lead-up to Election Day, voters ultimately returned Pringle to office, reaffirming their support for his leadership and representation.
