Newly appointed Minister of Health, Wellness, the Environment and Civil Service Affairs, Michael Joseph says he will rely on data and community engagement to guide policy decisions as he takes on one of the government’s most expansive portfolios.
Joseph, who holds a Master of Business Administration with a specialisation in risk management and has served as Minister of State in the Ministry of Health, Wellness, Environment and Civil Service Affairs under former Minister Sir Molwyn Joseph, told Antigua.News his first 100 days will focus on reducing emergency room wait times at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre, reopening non-operational clinics across the country, and streamlining civil service application processing.

Wishing him wisdom in the new role because healthcare decisions affect everybody.
