Masked Intruders Shoot Elderly Woman, Brutally Beat Husband in Late-Night Home Invasion
A violent home invasion in Liberta has left an elderly couple seriously injured.
The terrifying ordeal unfolded in the early hours of the morning while the couple slept at their home, when two masked men reportedly broke into the property and launched a brutal attack.
According to reports, the elderly woman was shot in the thigh, while her husband was severely beaten about the head and body. Investigators believe several of the man’s wounds may have been inflicted with a knife or another sharp object.
Both victims were rushed to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre, where they remain hospitalized in serious condition.
The motive behind the attack is believed to be robbery, although it remains unclear whether the intruders managed to steal anything from the home before fleeing the scene.
Anyone with information surrounding the attack is urged to come forward.

Whats happening in Antigua, it use to be one of the most quietest place in the Caribbean. I was there in 2024 my relatives leave their doors open all the time in Liberta and to here this wickedness happening now. Whats the government is doing about these situations. I pray for the elderly couple that by the Grace of God they will recover soon, I also pray for Antigua and Barbuda that the present of God is is a upon them and bring peace to the nation God bless Antigua and Barbuda always.
