
Minister of Information Communication Technologies (ICTs), Utilities and Energy, Melford Nicholas, has reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening Antigua and Barbuda’s ICT, utilities and energy sectors, following a high-level strategic meeting with senior officials from across the Ministry.
The meeting, held on Friday, brought together Heads of Departments, Managers and Senior Officials as the Ministry moves to align its priorities and reinforce its mission for 2026. According to the Minister, the discussions focused heavily on improving collaboration, enhancing efficiency and ensuring stronger delivery of services to the public.
Nicholas stressed that innovation and teamwork will remain central to the Ministry’s agenda moving forward.
“Our commitment to enhancing the ICTs, Utilities and Energy sectors is unwavering. It is essential that our plans reflect our collective responsibility to innovate and meet the needs of our community,” the Minister said.
He also underscored the importance of maintaining open communication between departments to ensure all divisions remain aligned with the Ministry’s broader national objectives.
The Minister expressed confidence that a unified approach among senior personnel would place the Ministry in a stronger position to achieve its goals and deliver meaningful results for the people of Antigua and Barbuda.
The meeting concluded with a renewed call for dedication and accountability from all team members as the Ministry advances efforts toward building a more sustainable and technologically advanced future for the country.
