Animal Rescue Volunteers Appeal for Public’s Help to Locate Injured Dog in St. John’s
Volunteers with Dogs and Cats of Antigua are appealing to the public for assistance in locating an injured dog believed to be roaming the Bishopsgate Street area of St. John’s.
According to the animal welfare organization, the dog was reported by a concerned member of the public and is believed to be in urgent need of veterinary care. However, despite efforts by volunteers to locate the animal, it has not yet been found.
The organization is urging residents and motorists in and around Bishopsgate Street to keep an eye out for the dog and to report any sightings immediately so volunteers can safely rescue it and transport it to a veterinarian for treatment.
Animal welfare advocates say time is critical, as the dog’s condition appears to require urgent medical attention.
Anyone who sees the dog is asked not to chase or frighten it, but instead to contact Dogs and Cats of Antigua as quickly as possible with its location.
The organization is hopeful that, with the public’s assistance, the dog can be located and receive the care it urgently needs.

It appears like some hot liquid was tossed on that dog! People, to control the stray animal population, spay and neuter your pets !!
A litter of Puppies eats as much as an adult dog. Then multiply that by at least 4 times per day.
Allowing your dogs to reproduce then dump the puppies is evil! They become a roving menace to neighborhoods, tossing down garbage bins and making a mess. Remember damaging vehicles when they get hit means an insurance claim. This was probably frustration by a home or business owner to the scavengers eking out survival from our discarded trash!!
