Cabinet has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening Antigua and Barbuda’s education sector as construction progresses on the new Five Islands Primary School and preparations continue for the expansion of the University of the West Indies Five Islands Campus.
Education Minister Daryll Matthew reported that construction of the new primary school remains on schedule and that a public update will be provided next week.
Cabinet also learned that procurement for the UWI Five Islands Campus expansion continues to generate significant interest, with approximately 18 firms expressing interest ahead of the August 14 bid deadline.
Government says the projects represent major investments in education infrastructure designed to strengthen learning opportunities while positioning Antigua and Barbuda as a regional centre for higher education and research.
Cabinet expressed confidence that the developments will benefit future generations while supporting long-term national development.

When that school finish all parents will want their children to go there. Lol
