Minister of Health, Wellness, Environment and Civil Service Affairs, Michael Joseph, has congratulated Antigua and Barbuda Emergency Medical Services (ABEMS) Critical Care Paramedic Brandon Browne on earning a Master of Science in Acute Medicine from the University of South Wales.
Browne, who also serves as an instructor with the ABEMS Academy, has built a reputation for clinical excellence and dedication throughout his years of service with the country’s emergency medical system. His latest academic achievement further strengthens his expertise in emergency and critical care medicine.
Minister Joseph praised Browne for pursuing higher education while continuing to serve on the front lines of healthcare, describing the accomplishment as one that reflects both personal determination and a commitment to improving healthcare delivery in Antigua and Barbuda.
“Brandon’s accomplishment is one that deserves to be celebrated,” the minister said. “It is encouraging to see young professionals investing in their education and continuously striving for excellence in their chosen fields. His achievement not only represents personal success but also strengthens the quality of healthcare services available to the people of Antigua and Barbuda.”
Joseph, a pharmacist by profession, said he is encouraged by healthcare professionals who continue to expand their knowledge and skills, noting that lifelong learning is essential to strengthening the country’s health sector.
