24-year-old Cody Gomes
The family and friends of Cody Gomes has been left in mourning following the sudden death of the 24-year-old. Gomes was found unresponsive at his home early Monday morning.
Gomes, a former employee of the Eastern Caribbean Amalgamated Bank (ECAB), was discovered by a family member between 5:30 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. The relative immediately contacted the authorities after making the grim discovery.
Police officers attached to the All Saints Police Station responded to the report and visited the residence, where Gomes was later pronounced dead at approximately 7:45 a.m.
The circumstances surrounding his death remain unclear, and authorities are continuing inquiries to determine exactly what happened. No further details have been released.
Investigators are asking anyone who may have information that could assist with the case to contact the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913 or 462-3914. Anonymous tips can also be provided through Crime Stoppers by calling 800-TIPS (8477).

You never know what a person is going through. Behind every smile are the darkest of stories and in society today “men aren’t allowed to have feelings”. They will class you as all manner of things once you have feelings as a man and when society decides to stop that, more men will speak out. I hope the family can find peace in all of this.
