Two Men Arrested After Police Execute Search Warrants in Hatton
A Jamaican national reportedly wanted for murder in Jamaica has been detained by police in Antigua and Barbuda following an operation in Liberta on Thursday morning.
According to Observer Media, the man was located and arrested during an operation carried out by officers, including members of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) Task Force.
The suspect, who is said to reside in Cedar Valley, was reportedly found occupying a motor van when police moved in. Officers searched the vehicle in his presence and seized several electronic items believed to be connected to the ongoing investigation.
The motor van was later taken to Police Headquarters for safekeeping, while the suspect was transported to the St. John’s Police Station along with the seized items.
Investigations remain ongoing as authorities work to determine the circumstances surrounding the matter. Police have not disclosed the identity of the suspect or provided further details regarding the murder allegation in Jamaica.
