Two Vehicles Heavily Damaged in Friars Hill Road Collision

A collision involving a white commercial van and a blue Mini Cooper caused major traffic disruption along Friars Hill Road on Thursday, leaving both vehicles badly damaged.

The impact of the crash forced the commercial van off the roadway and into a roadside drain, where it came to rest with extensive front-end damage. The Mini Cooper also sustained significant damage to its front end, while debris from the collision was scattered across the road.

Firefighters, police officers and emergency medical personnel responded to the incident. Firefighters later cleared the scene after ensuring there were no immediate hazards, while EMTs remained on the scene to assist those involved.

Authorities have not yet disclosed the circumstances that led to the crash or confirmed the number and condition of those involved. It is also unclear whether anyone was transported to hospital.
