VIDEO: Stove Gets a Front-Seat Ride as Solid Waste Workers Face Police Investigation
A homeowner’s camera reportedly caught two Solid Waste workers taking a stove and weed eater. Their placement may have caused confusion, but the stove’s alleged front-seat ride has raised questions.
A portable gas stove and a weed eater have landed two Solid Waste employees in hot water after a homeowner’s camera reportedly captured them taking the items from a property.
To be fair, where the items were left may have made them look like things the owner wanted thrown away. But the stove’s reported trip in the passenger seat has raised a question: was it being collected as garbage, or getting a lift?
The homeowner reported the matter to police, who are investigating. The items were reportedly taken to a police station after threats that they would be arrested and charged.
For now, the stove and weed eater are back in the picture and police will have to sort out whether this was a misunderstanding or something more.

One man's trash is Anothers treasure . He could see it was good something he could repair and take it. If it was in the back it would have gone in a dump. Wah dem ah do outside btw?

The were right to take them. Why leave them right next to the garbage? Maybe the workers thought they could salvage the items instead of throwing them away.

Nasty ppl always leave shit out like trash no regards for community or neighbors, why they were outside in reach of solid waste, your camera didn't show you it look bad, you can't charge the guys because they will not do a good job second guessing is this trash or not. Another man trash is another man treasure, if it look good take it instead of dumping it. We on solid waste team, give her a ticket to have stuff out running down the hood.
