Cleo Lemonious and Latoya Pilliner Charged Over Alleged EC$4,405 Clothing Theft
The accused are expected before the St. John’s Magistrate’s Court on Monday following alleged thefts at a store on Market and Redcliffe Streets.
Police have jointly charged two women with larceny following the alleged theft of clothing valued at EC$4,405 from a store in St. John’s.
The accused are 25-year-old Cleo Lemonious of Cooks Hill and 29-year-old Latoya Pilliner of Gray Hill, according to a police statement issued on Sunday, October 11.
Police allege that the women stole several articles of clothing from a store located on Market and Redcliffe Streets between October 6 and 7.
The items reportedly included Polo and Burberry shirts, jeans, baby clothing and other apparel.
According to police, CCTV footage allegedly captured both women removing items from the store. They were subsequently arrested and jointly charged.
Lemonious and Pilliner are expected to appear before the St. John’s Magistrate’s Court on Monday, October 12, to answer the charge.
