Antigua’s second runner-up in the 2024 Queen of Carnival competition is set to represent the country at a regional police pageant.
Police Constable Shania Samuel, who also won best talent in the Carnival competition, will compete against five other female officers from the region in the inaugural True Blue Beauty Pageant being presented by the Caribbean Federation of Police Welfare Associations.
The event is scheduled for October 25 at 8pm at the John E. St. Luce Finance and Conference Centre, with tickets priced at $60.
The pageant aims to promote unity among the law enforcement community across the region, following the theme “United We Serve.”
The other contestants include Nickesha Lewis from Guyana, Regine Clement from Trinidad and Tobago, Sabrina Mangal from St. Lucia, Tresan Sharpe from the British Virgin Islands, and Neddia Bromley from the Cayman Islands.
The True Blue Beauty Pageant will include several categories, such as Interview, Beauty with a Purpose, Personal Introductions, National Costume, Talent, Evening Gown, and a Question and Answer segment.
