LIAT 20, based in Antigua, has recently announced the establishment of a hub in St Vincent and the Grenadines.
This decision follows the airline’s successful inaugural flight to the region on Friday.
Hafsah Abdulsalam, the airline’s Chief Executive Officer, made the announcement at a ceremony at the Argyle International Airport to welcome the first LIAT 20 flight to the island.
She emphasized plans to enhance connections within the southern region through its route network during her brief remarks.
Reacting to the news, St Vincent and the Grenadines Prime Minister Dr Ralph Gonsalves said his government will support it 100%
“I just heard the news myself for the first time here. This is exciting, and we will support this 100%,” Dr Gonzalves told Antigua.news
