On Wednesday, visiting Dominicans will get an opportunity to meet with Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit and other government ministers.
The Diaspora Dialogue will also afford Dominicans who are home to celebrate Dominica’s 44th anniversary of independence, the opportunity to engage with Government officials on matters of development
The meeting will get underway at the State House Conference Center from 10:00 a.m.
Foreign Affairs, Minister Dr. Kenneth Darroux says a compact and relevant program has been organized to ensure a meaningful and productive dialogue between our diasporan family and the cabinet of ministers, where factual information can be requested and received.
Minister for Health, Wellness, and New Health Investment, Dr. Irving McIntyre, Minister for National Security and Home Affairs, Hon. Rayburn Blackmoore and Prime Minister Hon. Roosevelt Skerrit will make presentations at tomorrow’s meeting. A special
presentation on the ongoing international airport project will form part of the activity.
“An Efficient Service, A Sustainable Future” Invitees can also expect cultural performances from the Paix Bouche, Petite Savanne and Karifuna Cultural Groups, Belte Dominik and local entertainer Benji, among others.
Following the meeting, members of Cabinet and all Dominicans present will converge on the Botanic Gardens for Ti Vilaj Kwéyòl – ‘Tout biten Domnik,’ which is being held until Thursday, October 27.
