The MP for St Peter has reportedly brought in Jamaican reggae singer Gramps Morgan to perform at his mother’s funeral today.

The late Ambassador Josette Micheal will be buried today. She will receive an official funeral which will begin at 1:00 pm at the Holy Family Cathedral.

Copies of the rehearsal at the cathedral have been making rounds on social media.

If this is in fact the case, Micheal surely dug deep into his coffers to hire the likes of Gramps to pay final tributes to his beloved mother.

Gramps is a member of the Grammy-winning Morgan Heritage clan.
