Swimmers promised a permanent home by sports minister

Sports Minister Daryl Mathew has congratulated Team Antigua and Barbuda on their historic win over the weekend.

The Antigua & Barbuda swim team is celebrating after emerging as the champions of the 30th Annual OECS Swimming Championships in St. Lucia.

Thirty-one swimmers represented the twin-island nation at the event that ran from November 11 to 13.

They were able to combine a total of 1,111 points

Meanwhile, Mathew also hinted that plans are underway for the construction of a permanent home for swimming in Antigua and Barbuda.
