World’s largest cruise ship visits St Kitts

The world’s largest cruise ship Wonder of the Seas made its inaugural call to Port Zante in St Kitts earlier this week.  

6,495 guests arrived on the ship and 2,259 crew members were on board as well.

The ship from the Royal Caribbean Group is the fifth inaugural cruise call to St. Kitts since October 2022.

Prime Minister Dr. Terrance Drew led a delegation on board the welcomed onboard the Oasis class vessel for a brief plaque exchange ceremony.  

“You have confidence in the destination by adding St Kitts and Nevis to your now largest vessel the Wonder of the Seas with a passenger capacity of 6,988,” said Prime Minister Dr. Drew.   

St Kitts also welcomed the inaugural visit of yet another cruise ship to its shores on November 26. 

Evirma is the sixth cruise ship to make its inaugural call to St Kitts since October.
