Jolly Beach Resort Antigua opens today

Today, Antigua’s iconic Jolly Beach Resort opened its doors with a clear message to its guests: this is where you come for fun in the sun.

Located on the island’s most beautiful stretch of beach, travelers will have a full mile of powder white sand and arguably the best of Antigua’s famed 365 swathes to base their holiday. In addition, the epicenter of energy will be the resort’s Fantasy Pool, where local DJs will spin tracks.

Dining experiences will include the Coconut Grill, located between the beach and large Fantasy Pool, which will serve grilled fare and quick bites while The Palms, a casual buffet-style restaurant, will feature an air-conditioned, indoor dining room for breakfast daily, and a rotating international dinner menu. Rounding out the options will be the Pizza Factory, set amid tropical gardens in the vibrant courtyard with a menu of casual, Italian cuisine.

The Pizza Factory Bar will be the perfect spot to grab a pre-or-post-dinner cocktail, and the Sand Bar will serve as the resort’s signature lounge with a bit of flair, a perfect space to enjoy drinks all day long.

Guests can enjoy a range of experiences and amenities. They can dip into the excitement of the massive, central Fantasy Pool, or relax by the resort’s second swimming pool, or choose to take to the beach in a game of volleyball or one of the many non-motorized water sports like stand-up paddle boarding or kayaking.

For wellness enthusiasts, the Island Spa will offer traditional massages and other beauty treatments, and the resort’s fitness center will feature a range of cardio and weight-training equipment, while land activities include classics such as tennis, a game room, and billiards.

The largest resort on the island, Jolly Beach will offer three categories of rooms: supersaver, standard and superior, with rates from $199 per room, per night for two persons, on an all-inclusive basis where accommodations, dining, house-brand alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, non-motorized watersports, resort activities, entertainment, and WiFi are included. Room only/à la carte pricing is also available. All rooms face the Caribbean Sea and offer partial or full views of the sea from a private patio or balcony. Each room features cable TV, air conditioning, and basic bathroom amenities.
