A magnitude 3.0 earthquake was recorded northeast of Dominica early this morning, according to the UWI Seismic Research Center (UWI).
The shaking which was also felt in neighbouring Guadeloupe and Martinique according to UWI occured around 4:59 am at a depth of 10 km.
According to the Automatic Earthquake Location from UWI Seismic Research Center, the quake struck:
- Roseau, Dominica, 91 km, NE
- Point-à-Pitre, Guadeloupe, 95 km, SE
- Fort-de-France, Martinique, 142 km, NNE
