A fruit vendor in St Vincent and the Grenadines has been arrested and charged in connection with the February 10 death of Purlinea Greaves.
The 28 year old was a timekeeper of Dorsetshire Hill. Abdul Garrick, was charged with murder.
Police in St Vincent said Garrick appeared at the Serious Offences Court on February 20 for arraignment where he did not have to plea to the indictable charge.
Garrick was remanded into custody at His Majesty’s Prison pending a Preliminary Inquiry.
According to reports, Purlinea Greaves died at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital after she was approached and shot in the head at Dorsetshire Hill on February 9, at about 8:30 pm.
