Baby found abandoned in a gift bag in Guyana
A newborn baby boy was found abandoned yesterday in Recess, Mahaicony, Guyana according to reports from that country.
According to Loop News, the Guyana Police Force (GPF) reported that it received information that the child was located in an area by the seaside.
Upon arrival at the scene, bystanders directed police to the child’s location and Sergeant Williams sprang into action to retrieve him from the gift bag he was placed in.
Cops took the baby, whose umbilical cord, to Mahaicony Public Hospital for treatment.
GPF said medical exams showed the child was in good health and he was admitted to the Maternity Ward for further observation.
