An investigation has been launched into the death of a 28-year-old man in St Vincent, whose body was found in the mountain on March 3^rd.

The man who has been identified as Sheldon Welch, is according to police a laborer in Georgetown.

According to reports from lawmen, a report was made about the disappearance of Welch and investigations led them to the mountain where the man’s body was discovered in a pit

A postmortem examination is expected to be carried out on the body to determine the exact cause of death.  

One male suspect is in custody. Investigations into the matter are ongoing.
