A man from St Ann in Jamaica has been arrested by police after the body of his son was discovered by residents.

The body of the 14-year-old student Cashwayne Nevers of Inverness District in St. Ann, was found on a roadway near his home on Saturday morning

The child’s head appeared to be bashed in when he was found by residents who called the police.

According to media reports, the teenage boy and his father Festus Nevers otherwise called “Casha”, had attended a wake in the community earlier. They reportedly left together.

The father was taken into custody and police are tight-lipped on the matter.
