Grammy-nominated Black Violin of Fort Lauderdale is among the top performing arts at this year’s 12th edition of Jazz n Creole in Dominica carded for April 30, 2023.

The annual event was launched yesterday and will take place in Portsmouth.

Others on the lineup include Island Jazz Collective featuring Jussi Paavola, Haitian-American singer Phyllisia Ross, and Dominica’s local bands, Signal Band and Swingin Stars including a range of fringe events leading up to the mainstage event which will begin on April 23, 2023.

Jazz n Creole was first launched in 2010, putting on display a range of creole music in addition to culture, arts, and fine cuisine

This year’s event will be held under the theme of ‘rainforest fantasy.’

This year’s edition will include the return of the ‘Kids Zone,’ which the organizers say will cater to families with young children.
