A 23-year-old remains in critical condition at the county’s main medical facility after a vehicular accident on Valley Church Road this morning

The individual who has not yet been named suffered multiple injuries when their car slammed into a lamp post according to reports

Some of the injuries include a broken shoulder, head injuries, and possibly internal bleeding

Officials at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Center confirmed that the patient remains critical but stable

Reports from State Media indicate that the Emergency Medical Services received the call at 11:37 and rushed to the scene to find the motorist and a 14-year-old male passenger with serious injuries.

The teen however had minor bruises and complained of pain on the right side
