Unusual air traffic event over Antigua?

An unusual air traffic event reportdely occurred in the high flight level airspace above Antigua at about 5:50 am on Thursday, May 4, 2023. 

The said event involved an Air France Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, Flight# 4081, from Dallas Texas to Paris France, which took an unusual flight path to its European destination by flying overhead the Caribbean Island of Antigua before turning east to the mid-Atlantic Ocean before heading on its onward track to Paris.

This flight path is contrary to the usual North Atlantic crossing track from Dallas to New York to Boston to Bangor to Moncton to Labrador to Iceland to Scotland to Paris.
