Former BBC Broadcaster Ken Richards has died after prolonged illness.

Richards died at the Dominica China Friendship Hospital (DCFH) on May 21, 2023, a member of his family has confirmed

Richards, from Dominica, is well known in the media fraternity locally, regionally, and internationally

From Observer Radio in Antigua, the Government Information Service in Dominica, the Dominica Broadcasting Station, Radio Antilles, Voice of the Island Radio, WINN FM Radio St. Kitts, and the BBC Caribbean Service in London, Richards will be remembered for his frank opinions on political and social issues
