Two men in custody following the death of a teenager in Dominica

The stepfather and boyfriend of an 18-year-old woman in Dominica have been held for questioning after her dead body was discovered at the back of a home near the hospital in Portsmouth on Thursday

Kernelle Benjamin was reported missing seven days ago by her family.

Police and members of the Portsmouth community have been searching for her, since her disappearance. Benjamin has a one-year-old child whom her mother’s husband reportedly fathered.

Her mother Melissa George told the media that her daughter was abused by her husband since she was 11 years old. She said he got her daughter pregnant years later.

Benjamin reportedly went to the man’s house to collect the remainder of her personal belongings. This was the last time she was seen alive

Investigations are ongoing.

    From what I understood lastnight from a member of welfare division, The man was arrested and charged sometime ago..Because of the Reluctance of giving evidence by mother and daughter, the case was thrown out.The other accused is not a Boyfriend..He is the Brother of the step father who i was told help to conceal the Dead body after chopping her up.They should be both Nailed to a cross in the middle of Benjamin’s Park and torture with stones and wipe..
