Fifty-Eight Bids Farewell to Villa Primary

“Always be humble and don’t be ungrateful”. Those were a few words of advice that valedictorian Tidonna Warner shared with her 57 other classmates who said farewell to Villa Primary on Thursday.

Meanwhile, featured speaker, Senator Caleb Gardnier who likened the students to superheroes admonished them to never give up and never be afraid to call on their former teachers for advice and help.

“It’s always good to have good supporting friends and its important to stay strong.

When you want to give up always remember your goal and focus,” he told the graduating class of 2023.

He concluded, ” My task is to encourage you to use everything that you have learned to activate the superpower inside you,”

Education Minister Daryl Mathew who gave brief remarks, called on parents to be more responsible while scolding those he says see schools as glorified daycare.

He applauded the parents who play an active role in their children’s lives and make it a point of duty to find out from teachers how their children are doing in school.
