Last night in Anguilla, Young Destroyer from Antigua and Barbuda made an impressive debut in the Leeward Islands Calypso Competition, earning the second runner-up spot.

However, it was Montserrat’s ‘The Voice’ (aka De Bear) who claimed the crown, with defending champion Roxy from Anguilla as the first runner-up.

Young Destroyer, also known as Leston Jacobs, showcased his talent with impressive performances of ‘Back of the Bus’ and ‘Defending my Flag’ in the competition.
