As the official conclusion date of August 31st approaches, the 2023 School Uniform Grant Programme is now in its last week.
Although specific figures for this year’s program are not currently accessible, organizers have revealed that the response and support from the community have been substantial.
The issuance of vouchers through the initiative continues to be carried out at the Multi-Purpose Cultural and Exhibition Centre in Perry Bay.
Individuals interested in enrolling in the program have until Thursday to complete their registration.
To qualify for participation, children must attain the age of 5 by December 31, 2023, and will remain registered until they complete the 4th Form of education.
When visiting the Multi-Purpose Centre, returning beneficiaries are required to furnish the most recent school report of the student along with a government-issued identification. For new applicants, presenting either an acceptance letter from the school or a 3rd term report, in addition to valid identification for both the student and the parent or guardian, is essential when meeting with representatives of the School Uniform Grant Programme (SUGP).
This year, beneficiaries of the SUGP are offered the flexibility to choose between two options: face-to-face interaction or the utilization of the drop-box alternative, which is conveniently available at the program’s Perry Bay location.
