On Monday, 2nd October, the Police and Customs conducted a drug operation at the General Post Office. During the search, they discovered 12 packages of cannabis weighing a total of 12 pounds.

The controlled substance was found inside three separate boxes.

The items were confiscated and taken to headquarters for further investigation. The estimated value of the substance is $72,000.

Attention all, due to the passage of Tropical Storm Philippe, the General Post Office Headquarters will remain closed to the General Public today, Wednesday, 4th October.

Regular business operations will resume tomorrow, Thursday, 5th October at 8:15 am.
