Moments ago, Jamaica experienced a 5.4 magnitude earthquake that caused heavy shaking and led people to evacuate buildings.
The earthquake was located about 4 kilometers west-northwest of Hope Bay and had a shallow depth of 10 kilometers.
Fortunately, there were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
However, the earthquake caused panic on the island, and attendees of the International Seabed Authority meeting that was taking place had to flee while being recorded on camera before the broadcast cut off.
