Kerzner International Holdings Limited, a renowned hospitality company, is thrilled to announce the signing of a new One&Only resort and community of Private Homes in Antigua.

This latest addition to the exclusive One&Only collection is set to open in 2027 and will expand the ultra-luxury resort brand into the Caribbean.

The new resort will offer Antigua’s stunning landscapes paired with One&Only’s rich hospitality, creating an unparalleled resort experience.

The resort will be situated on the tranquil southeast side of the island at Half Moon Bay, one of the island’s finest stretches of coastline.

The 132-acre site overlooks a secluded semi-circular beach, adjacent to a protected national park, with cliffs rising into panoramic views over the Caribbean.

Antigua is a glamorous tropical playground, attracting the world’s luminaries, and the island’s charm and unspoiled nature remain intact.

The architectural design of the resort will blend seamlessly with nature, respecting the terrain and minimal impact will be made to the location’s ecosystem during development.

The resort will reinterpret the island’s vernacular design with an elegant contemporary lens, providing flowing indoor and outdoor spaces, breathtaking views, and chic living areas.

The resort will take inspiration from Antigua’s storied past and rich history to curate spaces of timeless luxury and laidback comfort.

One&Only’s unique experiences will allow guests to experience the best of what the island offers, encompassing nature, wildlife, cuisine, and culture.

Philippe Zuber, Chief Executive Officer for Kerzner International, said, “This is a significant moment for the considered growth of the One&Only portfolio; we have been searching for a location in this region for a long time, and we have now found a destination that not only meets but exceeds our vision for creating one-off resorts and experiences.”

Prime Minister Gaston Browne welcomed the One&Only resort at Half Moon Bay, saying, “We welcome and eagerly anticipate the One&Only resort at Half Moon Bay, which promises to be a marquee hospitality project in the Caribbean and the flagship of Antiguan and Barbudan tourism products.”

The upcoming opening in Antigua joins a number of highly anticipated new resorts for One&Only, including One&Only One Za’abeel in Dubai U.A.E. (opening January 2024), One&Only Kéa Island in Greece (opening Spring 2024), and One&Only Moonlight Basin in Big Sky Montana, United States.

One&Only is an exceptional collection of one-of-a-kind resorts and private homes located in the world’s most inspiring destinations, designed in harmony with nature and immersed in local culture.

The exclusive collection includes destinations across the world, from Greece and Mexico to Mauritius and Rwanda, with future resorts in Antigua, Big Sky Montana, and the brand’s first Urban Resort in Dubai opening soon.

One&Only Private Homes are currently available to purchase in Mauritius, Mexico, Montenegro, Montana (USA), Greece, and Dubai (UAE).
