During the upcoming parliamentary session on Friday, December 15th, 2023, the Ministry of Legal Affairs and The Attorney General’s Office will present three draft bills for consideration.

These bills include an amendment to “sin taxes” on alcohol, tobacco, and gaming, as well as a small increase in airport taxes to meet obligations for operating the airport. The third bill proposes a change to the ABST tax from 15% to 17%.

These proposed bills will be presented during the Budget Statement by the Finance Minister Gaston Browne.
