The Customs and Excise Division has reported a record-breaking revenue of 403 million dollars for the year 2023, marking a significant milestone in the country’s economic history.
This noteworthy achievement represents a 5.5% increase from the previous year’s revenue of 382 million dollars and surpasses the previous revenue peak of 390 million dollars in 2019.
The impressive growth in revenue at Customs and Excise is a clear indicator of robust economic activity in the country, which has been recovering strongly since the sharp economic downturn caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
