Director of Education Clare Browne is lauding the efforts of teachers, students, and other school faculty members at all government-run educational institutions for their hard work, which he says, led to a very successful term.

“I want to also salute those other persons who work on school plants because it is not just the principals and teachers that make education great, but all our ancillary staff. Workers, cleaners, grounds men, all those who continue to ensure the schools progress,” Browne said.

Director Browne also had kind words for students whom he said a dealing with a myriad of challenges from climate challenges.

Following on what he said was a successful first term, he outlines plans for the new academic year.

“We must continue to build the capacity of our teachers through continued professional development, we must continue to ensure our educational spaces are conducive, we must continue to focus on early childhood education”.

Strong emphasis will also be placed on Mathematics which usually yields concerning grades.
