The committal hearing for Dayneri Ferrer Vincent-Urlwin, the woman accused of causing the tragic death of Police Constable Robert Dyer in a collision last year, has been rescheduled to March 13.

Vincent-Urlwin is implicated in the incident involving her Jeep Wrangler and Dyer’s motorcycle on September 4, 2023, resulting in the untimely demise of the officer.

The collision occurred around 11:20 am, leading to Dyer’s official pronouncement of death at approximately 12:45 pm.

According to reports, Dyer was traveling from east to west on Sir Sydney Walling Highway when the accident transpired, involving the Jeep traveling in the opposite direction.

The collision took place as Vincent-Urlwin made a right turn into Luna Park, colliding with the officer, who had recently overtaken some vehicles.

Currently out on bail, Vincent-Urlwin is awaiting the resolution of her case. Her upcoming court appearance will determine whether the police have amassed sufficient evidence to proceed with a High Court trial.
