In a crime spree spanning several weeks, Lennox Southwell stole multiple bottles of Johnny Walker from different stores on the island.
The 47-year-old resident of Carlisle targeted different establishments, resulting in a series of charges.
On November 19, 2023, Southwell stole three Johnnie Walker Black Label bottles, collectively valued at $450.00, from Dee’s Service Station.
Following his arrest and subsequent appearance in court on Tuesday, he pleaded guilty to the charge.
Acting Chief Magistrate Dexter Wason sentenced him to one month in prison for this incident.
However, Southwell faces additional charges related to similar incidents at the All-Saints Magistrate’s Court.
On October 26, 2023, he stole a bottle of Johnnie Walker from Price Choppers.
Then, on December 29, 2023, he pilfered two bottles of Johnnie Walker from the Epicurean Supermarket in Jolly Harbour.
Two days later, he stole another bottle of the same whiskey from the aforementioned supermarket.
He admitted to those charges on Tuesday but will not be sentenced until Monday.
