A spate of Johnnie Walker thefts has landed Lennox Southwell behind bars for a year.

In the crime spree spanning several weeks, Southwell stole multiple bottles of Johnnie Walker from different places.

The first of the incidents occurred on  October 26, 2023, he stole a bottle of Johnnie Walker from Price Choppers.

Then on December 29, 2023, he pilfered two bottles of Johnnie Walker, from the Epicurean Supermarket in Jolly Harbour.

Two days later, he stole another bottle of the same whiskey from the aforementioned supermarket.

He appeared in the All Saints Magistrates court last week and admitted to all three larceny charges and was remanded pending sentencing yesterday.

Magistrate Ngaio Emanuel sentenced the serial thief to four months imprisonment for each offence.

But just days prior, Southwell was sent to prison for a month by another Magistrate for stealing  three bottles of Johnnie Walker Black Label, collectively valued at $450.00, from Dee’s Service Station on November 19,2023.
