Police have detained a man who they say is the prime suspect in the murder of Jamal Ryner. The man was held at his home in the Villa area this morning and is now being questioned.

Ryner was stabbed to death on Rowan Henry Street on Tuesday night, during an alleged dispute. This was the country’s second murder since the start of 2024.
