On Wednesday, the Cabinet of Antigua and Barbuda welcomed the principal owner of the Republic Bank Caribbean Premier Leagues (CPL), who presented memorabilia for the newest franchise team, the Antigua and Barbuda Falcons.

The team was officially unveiled during a gala opening ceremony hosted by the franchise owner, WORLDWIDE Sports Management Group.

Parimatch will serve as the team’s title sponsor.

During the meeting, President and owner of Worldwide Sports Management Group, Krishna Persaud, and CEO and General Manager of the franchise, Jeff Miller, updated the cabinet on plans for the League and the new franchise.
