Sean Wynter of East Bus Station, has been slapped with a hefty fine totaling $41,000 for the possession of firearms, ammunition, and marijuana.
Wynter, along with Carley Stevens, were charged jointly on Monday with possession of a black Beretta PX4 Storm 9mm Pistol, 13 rounds of 9mm ammunition, and 615 grams of Cannabis, with the intent to transfer and supply to another individual.
The illegal items were found as East Bus Station over the weekend.
Wynter pleaded guilty to all charges, resulting in fines of $18,000 for cannabis possession payable in three months, $13,000 for ammunition possession payable in 30 days, and $10,000 for firearm possession payable in seven days.
He received a reprimand and discharge for the charge of possession with intent.
Additionally, $12,000 found at Wynter’s residence was seized until forfeiture procedures are initiated.
On the other hand, Stevens, who pleaded not guilty, was released with the prosecution deciding not to offer any evidence against him.
