On April 23, LIAT 2020 welcomed the first two Embraer E-145 jet aircrafts to its fleet with a special Water Salute Ceremony on at V.C. Bird International Airport.
Antigua-based LIAT 2020 has officially received the Air Operator’s Certificate! This is a major milestone for the carrier, as it paves the way for scheduled passenger flights to begin.
The announcement was made by Prime Minister Gaston Browne during the Browne and Browne Show on Pointe FM last night
Prime Minister Browne also revealed that the International Airport on Barbuda will open within two to three weeks.
