LIAT (2020) Set to Operate First Set of Commercial Flights

On April 23, LIAT 2020 welcomed the first two Embraer E-145 jet aircrafts to its fleet with a special Water Salute Ceremony on at V.C. Bird International Airport.

 LIAT (2020) Limited, the Caribbean’s newest airline, proudly announces its first set of  commercial flights following the official launch on August 6th.

In a Ribbon-Cutting ceremony, commemorating the inaugural flight, Chief Executive Officer, Mrs. Hafsah Abdulsalam revealed that the  airline would commence operations with three (3) weekly flights, with plans to increase frequency and  expand its route network to include additional destinations in the near future. 

Beginning the week of August 19th, LIAT20 will connect Antigua, Barbados and Saint Lucia with flights  designed to enhance regional connectivity, provide exceptional service, and stimulate economic growth  across the Caribbean. 

To serve the region with greater reliability and efficiency, schedules have been carefully crafted based on market research and traveller feedback. For example:

LIAT20’s mission to deliver exceptional customer experience is exemplified by its highly anticipated direct  service from Antigua to Saint Lucia, underscoring the airline’s commitment to addressing regional travel  needs.
