The National Coordinator of the Conference, Sheila Roseau also expressed profound gratitude, stating, “The success of the 4th SIDS Conference is a testament to the collaborative national spirit and shared commitment of our partners and supporters. Their generous support has enabled us to begin a truly transformative movement that will address the critical needs of small island developing states.”

Ambassador Webson further noted that the support of Antiguans and Barbudans played an essential role in guaranteeing the success of the conference, making SIDS4 a truly historic achievement for our small state.

“As we continue to build on the momentum generated by this conference, the Government of Antigua and Barbuda remains dedicated to fostering partnerships and implementing initiatives that support the sustainable development of island nations and the implementation of the Antigua and Barbuda Agenda for SIDS (ABAS),” he stated.

“The contributions of our partners and volunteers have laid a solid foundation for progress, and we look forward to further opportunities to work together and garner their continued support in our collective journey towards a future filled with possibilities,” Ambassador Webson continued.
